Nick's first contact with the guitar was on a no-name German nylon-string gift to-the-family. Upon learning "Undone (The Sweater Song)" he knew was hooked and life would forever keep six strings close at hand. Since that first magical evening by the CD Boombox, Nick has gone on to play in numerous situations, including garage jam-and-cover bands, college jazz combos, church groups of widely varying decibel levels, high school big bands, one-off bluegrass engagements and late-night by-request sessions. Nick is eager to explore the rich Celtic musical tradition but is probably too much of a mutt to throw around a word like "roots." (back)
